Q. How is the premium charged?
A. Once you sign up for the bundle, your insurance premium is considered paid.
Q. What are the eligibility criteria to subscribe to these plans from WAADA?
A. Subscriber must be:
  • Be a Zong customer
  • Have an activated bundle
  • Use the same mobile device against a SIM registered in his/her own name
Q. How can a claim be initiated?
A subscriber can initiate a claim with WAADA by:

The subscriber must submit the required documents, such as an FIR or Roznamcha, along with incident details.

Q. When will I receive a replacement phone?
A. A replacement phone will not be provided. Instead, a cheque equivalent to the approved settlement amount will be issued.
Q. What if the cost of repairing the phone exceeds the insured amount?
A. Coverage is limited to the insured amount only. Any additional cost will be borne by the customer.
Q. Can I file a claim if I do not block my IMEI or if my mobile is not PTA-registered?
No. Only PTA-approved mobile phones are covered under this policy. In case of a claim, blocking of the phone’s IMEI(s) is mandatory, and proof will be required at the time of claim submission.
Q. What is the estimated time for claim settlement?
A. Claims are generally settled within 72 hours after receipt of complete documentation.
Q. Can a customer enroll in multiple subscriptions?
A. No. A customer can enroll in only one subscription, which must be embedded with the bundle.
Q. What is the Waiting Period or No-Claim Period?
A. The Waiting Period or No-Claim Period (if applicable), as mentioned in the plan overview, refers to the number of days from the date of subscription during which coverage is not applicable. This applies only once at the time of initial subscription and does not apply during renewals.
Q. What is the Waiting Period or No-Claim Period for mobile insurance?
A. There is no waiting period in cases of theft or total damage. However, for screen protection, a waiting period of 30 days applies.
Q. What are plan exclusions?
A. Plan exclusions refer to specific reasons or exceptional situations under which a claim becomes ineligible for coverage.

Terms & Conditions

  • All subscriptions are automatically renewed unless cancelled by the subscriber.
  • In order to have full coverage under your plan, the daily subscription fee or premium should be paid in full in the previous month, which means daily deduction should be successful on each day of the previous calendar month. In case of partial payment (due to insufficient balance or the month being the commencement month), the benefit coverage under the selected plan shall be reduced on a pro-rata basis for the following month.
  • Under daily subscription plans, we will make daily attempts to collect the pre-defined daily subscriptions or premium value in full or partial (50% of plan price, where full deduction is unsuccessful) from your mobile balance. There will not be accumulative daily premium deduction for days when the balance was insufficient. This means max deduction on any given day could be of one day’s premium value. 
  • All subscriptions and any benefits payable under the products will be in Pakistani rupees.
  • On-call consent by the customer will be taken as a legally binding agreement to enroll or subscribe for the insurance plan/product. 
  • Upon subscription, the user agrees to recurring service charges deducted from mobile balance and auto-renewal until they unsubscribe.
  • By enrollment in products, subscribers authorize Zong (CM Pak) to share their details available to the parties providing these products.
  • The insurance benefit offered under the products will be governed by the terms and conditions contained in the group policy or policies issued by registered insurance companies in Pakistan. The insurance cover provided in these products are underwritten by EFU Life Assurance Limited, who will be responsible for payment of valid claims under the insurance policies.
  • The products are developed by Waada Digital Pvt Limited who is also providing distribution and administrative services under this arrangement.
  • The subscription fee must be paid in advance for a subscriber to be eligible for the products.
  • The terms of the products including subscription fee can be amended or the products can be withdrawn by the supplier parties at any time and in such an event subscribers shall be informed through an SMS or any other manner as agreed between them.
  • SMS notifications for subscribed services and service renewal may be sent anytime during 24 hours.
  • Notice of claim under this policy must be given to Waada within three hundred and sixty-five days (365) days of the claim occurrence.
