Zong Z HomeFi “FWA (Fixed Wireless Access)” service provides high-speed home internet using Zong’s 4G and 5G network through an FWA CPE (Customer Premises Equipment), without requiring a traditional fibre or copper last-mile connection. The service uses a prepaid FWA data SIM that may be linked to the customer’s existing Parent Zong number.

Z HomeFi is available only in approved 5G FWA serviceable areas, including designated cities, areas, sites, clusters, and hotspots. Availability is maintained through the FWA serviceability list and reflected on the Zong Website, My Zong App (MZA), and CRM. All Z HomeFi orders must be validated against the approved serviceability list before the order is accepted.

Customers can get information through the Zong Website, My Zong App (MZA), Call Centre, and CSCs, but to purchase the device they need to visit the CSCs.

The feasibility/coverage check verifies whether Zong FWA can be provided at the customer’s requested location. It includes address verification, GPS/geolocation validation, FWA coverage availability, and Site Bandwidth capacity. If the location is outside the approved serviceability area, the customer is informed that the service is currently unavailable and the order will not be booked.

The CPE and Bundle prices are already available on the Zong Website & My Zong App (MZA).

Available packages provide speeds of up to 10 Mbps, 20 Mbps, 30 Mbps, or 50 Mbps, depending on the bundle selected and network availability.

Performance can vary based on network & Wi-Fi signal strength, interference, CPE placement, network congestion, and distance from the serving 5G tower.

Z HomeFi uses an indoor plug-and-play 5G CPE designed for easy self-installation. Customers receive a device setup guide, optimal placement guide, and coverage selection guidance. APN and network configuration are automatically pushed directly to the CPE.

After customer registration at CSC, BVS, payment, and backend provisioning, the service goes through network authentication, APN configuration, welcome SMS/email notification, and speed validation. Customers receive a confirmation once the connection is live.

Z HomeFi operates on a prepaid model (similar to MBB), so all standard recharge channels work. You can re-subscribe via:

• USSD from Parent/Child number, Retailer 964, and Online Shop (Coming soon)

Customers can track remaining resources via the My Zong App (MZA), Master Number USSD (*6969#), or by contacting the Call Center.

Users receive alerts at 50%, 80%, and 100% data usage with options for add-ons. Internet service stops immediately after 100% consumption until the account is recharged or a new bundle is added.

No. The service is locked to the registered location using a 3-factor security mechanism:

• IMEI to MSISDN Lock: Linked to the approved CPE & SIM.
• GEO Lock: Restricted to the assigned cell site.
• Network Lock: Permitted only on authorized Zong network.

To move locations, customers must place an official relocation request through Zong.
