How to Activate:

To activate your Doosra Number on your existing SIM:

  • SMS SUB to 4600 from you Zong Number
  • Dial 4600 from your Zong Number

Once you subscribe to the service the system will randomly select a number from Doosra Number inventory. A confirmation SMS will be sent on your Number.

How to De Activate

  • Send SMS Unsub to 4600 for Un-subscription from Doosra Number
  • Dial IVR 4600 for Un-subscription

Charges for Prepaid Customer

  • Primary number calls and SMS will be charged as per customer’s tariff plan
  • Doosra Number call will be charged Rs.1.60/minute
  • Doosra Number SMS will be charged Rs. 0.50 /SMS
  • Subscription charges - Re.1.00/Day
  • 4600 IVR will be charged Rs.0.20/minute
  • SMS to 4612 will be charged Rs.0.20/SMS

Charges for Postpaid Customer

  • Primary number calls and SMS will be charged as per customer’s tariff plan

A. Customers throughout Pakistan are eligible of Yaari Load. FATA & PATA customers are not eligible to use the service
Q. How to use Doosra Number:
A. To make call OR SMS from your Doosra number to any other number, simply dial 46 before the desired number.
Normal Number: 0311-XXXX456 Doosra Number: 0312-YYYY456
Q. How to call from Doosra Number:
A. If you want to make a call from your assigned Doosra Number( 0312-YYYY456)to any normal number (0311-XXXX456) then dial 46 before the normal number (e.g. 460311-XXXX456). Receiving Party CLI will show your assigned Doosra number (0312-YYYY456) on its screen.
Q. How to send SMS from Doosra Number:
A. If you want to send an SMS from your assigned Doosra Number (0312-YYYY456) to any normal number (0311-XXXX456) then type your message and add prefix “46” before the normal number (460311-XXXX456).Receiving Party will receive SMS from your assigned Doosra number (0312-YYYY456).
Q. For incoming calls and SMS on Doosra Number:
A. For all incoming calls and SMS user will receive it with prefix 46 and then the normal number.
If any Normal number (0311-XXXX456) makes a call or SMS on your Doosra Number (0312-YYYY456), Doosra number will receive call/SMS with Prefix 46 (460311-XXXX456) on his Doosra number.

A. By simply dialing 4600 or SMS SUB to 4600.
Q. How Can I buy more than one Doosra Number?
A. Customer can buy only one number as Doosra Number.
Q. When I receive a call using my Doosra Number, how do I know the inbound caller is calling on my Doosra number?
A. When you receive a call, 46 pre-fix will be visible before the number (460311-XXXX456), so the subscriber will know that inbound call on Doosra Number
Q. How do I call from my Doosra Number?
A. Dial prefix 46 before any number to make call from your Doosra Number.
Q. How do I send SMS from Doosra Number?
A. You can enter a text message and send out to any mobile number just like you would from your regular chat / SMS function on your phone but the caller ID shown to the other party would be your Doosra Number and NOT the primary phone number. Just need to add a pre-fix 46 before the number (460311-XXXX456).
Q. Can I block incoming calls?
A. Yes! You can block all or desired specific MSISDN's .This blocking is different from Call blocking on Primary Number. You can turn off/turn OR schedule Doosra Number any time through 4600 IVR or by sending "help" to 4612 on SMS.
Q. Can I make International calls from Doosra Number?
A. No! International calls and SMS are not allowed from Doosra Number
Q. Do I need to go to service center or Franchise to buy Doosra Number?
A. No! Doosra number will be attached with active primary number hence customer’s record will also be available in our system. Customer’s NIC or Passport Number is not required for the activation. Customer does not need to visit any service centre or franchise to obtain the Doosra Number.
Q. Can I transfer balance? Can I transfer balance from my Primary Number to Doosra Number?
A. No! Balance transfer is not allowed from Doosra number to any other number not even on your primary Number.
Q. Can I use any Voice/SMS bundle or any other VAS on my Doosra Number?
A. No! Customers cannot use any Bundle service or VAS on Doosra Number.
Q. Can I Port-Out my Doosra Number to any other Network?
A. No! Doosra Number cannot be ported out. You can port out your primary number and your Doosra Number will be reserved for same customer for the next 6 Months.
Q. Can I change my Doosra Number?
A. No! Once it is assigned user cannot change its Doosra number.
Q. Can I recharge on my Doosra Number?
A. No! recharge can only be done on primary number.

A. Yes! Primary and Doosra number blacklist can be managed separately and they are not related to each other.
