Zong AIOU MoU

Islamabad, 15th April, 2015 --- Zong, Pakistan’s most advanced and only 3G & 4G operator signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Allama Iqbal Open University (AIOU), Pakistan’s biggest university in terms of student enrollment. With Zong’s focus on becoming an indispensable digital life partner, this MoU will facilitate the academia and student body of AIOU in its educational pursuits through access to various Zong products and services.
Zong’s cutting edge 3G & 4G technology is empowering a great number of Pakistanis each day, and this partnership with a university of the academic stature of AIOU implies that an even greater number of individuals, in particular youth, will be able to experience empowerment in the arena of education through our technological innovations.
AIOU staff and students will be able to enjoy a vast category of Zong’s cutting edge products and services, ranging from Zong’s latest 4G enabled handsets through our installment plan and WiFI connectivity for the AIOU Headquarters through Zong WiFi devices to mobile broadband based connectivity in 42 regions and mobile financial solutions for timely disbursements of monthly wages and collection of fees amongst many others products and services. These benefits will be enjoyed by a population of over 1.3 million students, over 70,000 tutors and over 2400 employees.
