Zong, Pakistan’s most advanced and only 3G & 4G operator has launched its “Roam Like Home” offer for Zong customers travelling to Saudi Arabia. This offer gives the lowest international roaming rates that are equivalent to rates offered to customers at home. These can be enjoyed while availing roaming on Saudi Arabia’s Zain network.
This offer is valid for all Zong prepaid customers, and is automatically activated without any prior subscription charges. Customers only need to activate the International Roaming access level by dialing the 310 helpline or visiting a service center prior to their travel. Zong users will be charged on minimal rates of Rs 0.25/second (exclusive of taxes) for outgoing calls to both Pakistan and Saudi Arabia.
It needs to be noted that Zong’s Roam Like Home rates are the lowest in comparison to both Pakistani operators and Saudi Arabian operators. This is a fairly welcome offer given that the holy month of Ramadan is just around the corner. In this regard, a large number of Pakistanis will be travelling to Saudi Arabia and will hence be able to remain connected to their friends and families at all times at the lowest rates possible.

22nd April 2015, Islamabad --- Zong, Pakistan’s most advanced and only 3G & 4G operator has touched another milestone by reaching 2.9 million 3G subscribers as of March 2015, making it the operator with the second largest number of 3G subscribers in the industry.
This rise in customers has been preceded by an extensive 3G rollout campaign, as a result of which the number of 3G cities covered by Zong has increased to 40. LAHORE, MARCH 05, 2013: ZONG, the digital partner of the nation, is sponsoring the National Open Polo Championship for the Quaid-e-Azam Gold Cup 2013. Six teams will be competing through the tournament starting from March 06, 2013 to March 17, 2013 while its final scheduled for Sunday March 17, 2013.
The National Polo Championship, this year has 6 teams where the lower limit of the tournament is 10 goals and the upper limit is 14 goals. There are 6 foreign players participating in this tournament. Renowned foreign Umpires like Marcus Hancock, Matias Vial Perez, Santiago Mendivil, Gaston Moore, Manuel Crespo and James Harper will be participating in the event.

National Open Polo Championship was incepted way back in 1963 and this year's event will be the 50th edition of the National Polo Championship. The trophy was first introduced as the El Effendi Cup, and was presented by Brig H M el Effendi who was himself a 4 goal player.
Under Corporate Volunteerism Programme, employees of ZONG recently visited Chambeli Institute of Mentally Challenged Children and Physiotherapy Center located in Satellite Town, Rawalpindi. The Institute has around 50 special children enrolled in it and has a staff of 20 people to manage and help with these children.
It was a full day event which comprised of many fun filled activities like face painting, musical chairs, tableau by children, 3-legged race, spoon & ball race and dancing competition. Children participated with great enthusiasm while volunteers from ZONG compassionately arranged all these activities with help of the institute's staff.
Children also watched a cartoon movie on the multimedia and later on excitedly received gifts, food items and goodie bags which were being distributed by ZONG employees. Each child was presented stationery items, coloring box set, glitter pens and coloring books along with scrumptious delights to make this day a memorable one for them.
By organizing such activities ZONG is not only integrating CSR best practices by promoting community service among its employees but is also mentoring them to become better future leaders. Their first hand exposure to the opportunities, challenges and conditions of community members will inform their actions as they move to become mentors and decision makers.
