Recharge Validity

In order to facilitate our customers, Zong gives all prepaid customers the choice of recharging via e-top up or scratch card in order to recharge their accounts – so they can continue to Say It All whenever, wherever !

However, each amount added to the customer's balance has a specific validity period, as shown in the table below.

Example 1- For same denomination loaded twice or more in one day, validity period will be the same. If a customer recharges a scratch card of Rs 100, immediately followed by another scratch card of Rs 100, the total balance accumulated in the customer's account will have a validity of 60 days.

Example 2 - The validity shall be that of the highest denomination of amount loaded.

• If a customer recharges 2 scratch cards on the same day: one is of Rs 100 and the other one is of Rs 1,000 then as the validity period of scratch card Rs 1,000 is higher (365 days) it will take precedence i.e. the validity period for total amount loaded on that day would be 365 days.
• If customer loaded Rs 1,000 (validity 365 days) on 2nd of the month and Rs 100 (validity 60 days) on 12th of the same month, the validity of his balance on 12th will be 355 days as validity is dependent on highest denomination of amount loaded.
